About Groundspace Gallery

Groundspace Gallery is an independent contemporary art gallery in Glebe, Sydney. We present artists from Australia and beyond through thoughtfully selected exhibitions, projects and art fairs, with a particular interest in artistic connections across Australia and Asia.

Our program spans painting, photography, sculpture and other contemporary practices. We are drawn to work with a distinct point of view: art that invites curiosity, carries a strong sense of the artist’s voice and stays with you beyond the first encounter. We work closely with artists to present their work with care and to build lasting relationships.

Groundspace is also a place for discovery. Whether you are visiting an exhibition, meeting an artist or considering your first artwork, we welcome you to spend time, ask questions and find something that speaks to you.
