JUANITA RUDMAN

Juanita Rudman is a Sydney-based abstract artist whose bold, colour-rich paintings explore movement, joy and self-expression. Her love of colour is central to her practice, shaping vibrant compositions that bring warmth and energy to a space.

Returning to painting later in life, Rudman developed an intuitive approach, layering acrylic paint, ink, oil sticks and Posca pens. Rainbows, floral motifs and organic shapes recur throughout her work, creating a playful visual language with a strong sense of movement.

Working on canvas and increasingly at a larger scale, Rudman creates paintings that invite conversation and moments of delight. Many of her works are finished with Australian oak or flooded gum frames, complementing the colour and texture within each composition.
