Violetta Kurbanova is a Russian-born Australian artist whose work is inspired by the beauty of nature and the landscapes that have shaped her life. She began her formal artistic training at the age of fourteen at the prestigious Krasnodar National Art School, studying drawing, painting, and sculpture. After earning a degree in Applied Mathematics and working as a software programmer for seventeen years, she followed her lifelong passion for art and moved to Australia in 2008.
Today, Violetta is known for her expressive watercolours and large-scale mural projects, having completed more than forty public artworks across Sydney. Her paintings have been exhibited internationally and are held in private and corporate collections worldwide. A recipient of numerous awards, she is recognised for her technical skill, vibrant use of colour, and ability to capture the atmosphere, beauty, and emotional essence of the natural world.
